I was pleased to today again visit Penn State University; I had visited in March 2016. My hosts were the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications and the Golden Key International Honour Society. We engaged in an intimate conversation about the changing nature of work, and how that might impact peace related careers. Also, we discussed the characteristics of millennials and their expectations for careers including their desire to do good.
As group we considered the importance of dialogue and engagement, and how that has been lost today in this country. I shared with them my experiences visiting St. Louis Community College in 2014, where I focused on dialogic approaches.
I also had a chance to show this video: an ad from Expedia. (Click on the image below).
I was glad to visit Penn State again and support the college’s efforts to advancing peace and a better world.
