Looking at Buying a New Miata? Have You Considered a Viper Instead?

Viper-1

Lots of people are talking about how great the new 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata is, and I have to agree, it’s a great car. But if you’re not limiting yourself to a fun new car, there are lots of options in the “new for you” category, including the car we have to show you today. Yes, for the same price as a new Miata you could find yourself behind the wheel of a 500 horsepower Dodge Viper. Sign me up!

The car has everything you’d want from a SRT10 Viper, including the fabulous red paint scheme. It’s in “like new” condition, and is even a convertible for those looking to draw a comparison to the Miata. And at $32,000, it’s right in the same price range as a fully-loaded Mazda. But, instead of a measly 155 horsepower, you get 500.

This particular Viper has 18,191 miles on the odometer, and looks to be in great shape according to the photos. While Vipers certainly have come down in price over the years, it’ll be hard to find one in this good of shape for this price. It might not be as desirable as a GTS hardtop, or one of the new ACR models, but if you’re looking for a ragtop that’s a ton of fun, this car is difficult to pass up.
