TAMPA, Nov. 7, 2014 — Tampa Bay has earned a spot among Trekaroo.com’s top destinations for families traveling with small children in 2015. The family travel website released its list of 2015 destinations this week at Trekaroo.com.
Trekaroo’s Florida Destination Guroo Marisa Langford praised Tampa Bay’s big-name attractions, such as Busch Gardens Tampa and The Florida Aquarium, as well as its growing food-and-drink culture.
“Foodies will rejoice as numerous new restaurants and local craft breweries have begun to make national headlines as THE places to eat (The Refinery) and drink (Cigar City Brewing) in the South,” she said.
Tampa Bay was listed among Trekaroo’s 22 Top Treks for 2015. The list ranges from Yellowstone National Park to the U.S. Virgin Islands and from Kyoto, Japan to Indianapolis, Ind. Tampa Bay was the only Florida destination to make the list.
