REX.D releases new digital single, “Red Monday”

| ,

REX.D has released a new digital single today. ‘Red Monday‘ is about a man who wishes to relieve his girlfriend of the stress from going to work.

REX.D debuted in 2012 under Romantic Factory, releasing the mini album ‘Wrong’ together with Soomin Oh. His first solo single came out in 2014 and featured Sanchez. In 2015 he was diagnosed with leukemia but overcame the disease with support from family, friends, and fans. Until now, REX.D has released over ten singles plus one mini album, titled ‘LOG‘, in May 2017.

After the double single ‘Playlist‘ from April, this new single is his fourth release as an independent artist. In the lyrics, a man laments about seeing his girlfriend stressed from work. He lists horrible superiors, short break times, long working hours, and–of course–Mondays as a source of stress for her that he would love to make disappear.

“I wish the sun would rise late on Mondays, I’m sorry
I wish there wouldn’t be any meetings, I’m sorry”
