Alicia Keys Sundance Movie Entry With Jennifer Hudson

Singers Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson were both sighted at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival in Utah this weekend. Both stars are in support for George Tillman, Jr.’s film “The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete.”

Hudson, together with fellow American Idol alum, Jordin Sparks, star in the film as two drug addicted mothers who are removed from their homes by authorities.

Alicia Keys on the other hand is the executive producer and composer of the movie. This is her first experience creating a film score.

“Being able to collaborate with (director) George (Tillman, Jr.), and he has such a cool feeling about music and is specific about how it related to each scene, and that was really interesting. There were some pieces that came really naturally to me and others that I had to kind of think more of how does that feel, what should that feel like?”, she told HuffPost.
