[www.inewsguyana.com] – Vishnu Persaud, the brother of murdered businesswoman Patricia Sanasie has left the country, shortly after releasing a recording, which reveals a plot to kill the woman.

iNews was reliably informed that the young man left the country after he provided the police with a statement regarding the revelations he made to the media at a press conference on Wednesday, February 11.

Police sources have also confirmed that they are in receipt of the recording between the alleged hitman and the now dead woman as provided by her brother. One source related that the police are investigating the new leads and are presently reviewing the recording to confirm the voices on the tape.

iNews also understands that the ex-policeman who was identified in the recording, was arrested, detained and questioned in relation to the same matter after the businesswoman had reported that he had threatened her.

Persaud, during his press conference, had expressed fear for his life, citing that a close relative killed his sister and now wants to kill him. According to the man, the close relative, whose name was provided, is currently in the United States where the alleged conspirator continues to elude justice.

In February of last year, both Persaud and his sister were accused of contracting killers to execute her husband Deonarine Sanasie. This was after there was a failed execution bid on the life of the businessman also known as ‘Monkey Ram’.

On January 12, 2015 the mother of three was killed as she made her way home from church at her Atlantic Gardens, East Coast of Demerara residence.

The woman was shot several times in front her residence by a lone gunman. Eyewitnesses reported that a “big built gunman” exited from a sliver colored Raum and discharged four shots at the woman while she attempted to open her gate seconds after arriving home.
