JUICY AWARDS X ANNOUNCEMENT:

The ultimate. The final. The tenth annual Juicy Awards.

We’ve come a long way since the first award ceremony. At the start, there were several awards handed out to the movies I would review; the ceremony would gift an award almost every day of January. As time passed, I got busier and had to cut the categories down to a few. In all honesty, I don’t miss most of the categories I started with. Some were rather harsh (worst actor, worst character, most burnt) and completely unnecessary. The purpose was to stand out from most ceremonies you would find on television, but at the end of the day most people stop by to see what flick I selected to be the Movie of the Year. So, the cutbacks helped everyone.

Now, in my final round of Juicy Awards, I have decided to add a few new categories. Some were once used in the past, others entering for the very first time. Hopefully you get a kick out of who I nominate. Last year was a fairly great one for cinema.

The tenth annual Juicy Awards will take place from January 7th, 2023 to January 30th, 2023.

January 7th – Best Animated Film
January 8th – Best Visual Effects
January 9th – Best Original Score
January 10th – Best Screenwriting
January 11th – Best Cinematography
January 12th – Best Supporting Actress
January 13th – Best Supporting Actor
January 14th – Walken’s Wild One
January 15th – Best Actress
January 16th – Best Actor
January 17th – Movie of the Month Winners
January 18th to January 30th – Movie of the Year Elimination/Winner
