Update – new nominations received…
Allison Grant (cello) for chair, Norman Mills (clarinet) and Ernie Spencer (cello) for committee. That almost completes the set of available places.

We are still looking for nominations/volunteers/suggestions for election to the new committee at Tuesday’s AGM.
Of the current committee, four members (including the chair) are due to stand down, with just two standing for re-election, and it would be good to have some fresh faces on board.

Gillian Lever (violin) – vice-chair (2013-2016)
Anne Richards (percussion) – treasurer (2013- 2016)
Gillian Batters (clarinet) – secretary (2014-2017)
Allison Grant (cello) – librarian (2013-2015) – standing for election as chair
Fiona Kindness (violin) – librarian (2013 – 2016)
Dominique Somers (flute) – librarian (2013 – 2016)
Alison Scott (flute) – liaison (2013-2015) – standing for re-election
Joe Broussard (trumpet) – publicity (2014 – 2017)
David Rycroft (violin/viola) – publicity (2013-2015) – standing down
Alan Cooper (oboe) – website/enrolment (2013 – 2016)
Kirsten Hunter (violin) – ordinary member (2014-2017)
Constitutionally we are allowed no more than 12 committee members.
