Poem by Shoshana Vegh
Healing
If the Ottoman
Would heal me
At the hospital bed
The shouts will come out of a dream
Witchcraft will be remove from me
And he will ask in amazement
How did I forgot his strong arms
How did I ignored his blue eyes
That are half-petitions
Or if he had lain next to me
In a hotel that he has never been to
And would probably leave me signatures and cries
But I gave up on this disease
I reappeared above my straits
And I do not expect him
I know
That the wounds healed
And the dreams drowned in the Black Sea
Seagulls soar to sadness is abandoned
I came to joy
