Published

The third season of Don Mancini’s “Chucky” wraps up with a super-sized final episode this Wednesday, and SYFY has provided us with a sneak peek clip to get you ready this morning.

The Season 3 finale is fittingly titled “Final Destination,” and Jake’s taking a trip to the Spirit Realm to make contact with Charles Lee Ray. His goal? To extract information about Caroline’s whereabouts and kill Chucky once and for all. Watch the clip below for a preview, which suggests that Jake’s going to have to grapple with more than just Chucky on the other side.

In the finale, “Jake faces his demons and a new type of evil in the quest to find Caroline.”

We’ll also be introduced to Chucky’s (literal) maker in this week’s “Final Destination,” with John Waters returning to the franchise to play Wendell Wilkins, the creator of the Good Guys!

The finale of “Chucky” Season 3 airs Wednesday, May 1 on USA & SYFY.

You can expect the Season 3 finale to hit Peacock on Thursday, May 2.

The second season of the Max animated series “Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai” is officially titled “Gremlins: The Wild Batch,” and it’s headed to the streaming service in Fall 2024.

From Amblin Television and Warner Bros. Animation, “Gremlins: The Wild Batch” follows Gizmo, Sam, and Elle as they travel from their home in Shanghai to San Francisco, bringing even more magic, mystery and Mogwai mayhem.

“Hot on the trail of a new brood of evil Mogwai, our heroes journey deep into the American West, coming up against new supernatural creatures and picking up a few mysterious characters along the way.”

Returning series regulars Ming-Na Wen, James Hong, BD Wong, Izaac Wang, AJ LoCascio, and Gabrielle Nevaeh will be joined by an all-star guest cast to be announced at a later date.

“Gremlins: The Wild Batch” is produced by Amblin Television in association with Warner Bros. Animation. Steven Spielberg serves as executive producer, along with Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey, Presidents of Amblin Television, and Sam Register, President, Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios.

Tze Chun serves as showrunner and executive producer. Brendan Hay serves as executive producer with Dan Krall as Supervising Producer. Joe Dante serves as consulting producer.

“Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai” wrapped up back in June of last year. The series was hugely notable for being the first new installment in the franchise since Gremlins 2 back in 1990.

“Secrets of the Mogwai” creatively expanded upon the world of the franchise in exciting and unexpected ways, managing to retroactively enrich the movies along the way. That first season saw Gizmo and a young Sam Wing battling colorful monsters and spirits from Chinese folklore, and it sounds like “The Wild Batch” will bring the franchise back to the United States.
