[TV] Next On “Hannibal”: Episode 2.08, “Su-zakana” Promo!
NBC’s “Hannibal” is such riveting television I have to keep checking to see if the following week is the finale. It never is, and it’s just now looming. With a few weeks to go, the red herrings continue to multiply and then subtract, yet never appear to be out of the picture. Is Hannibal the ripper, does he have an accomplice, or maybe it’s been someone else the entire time?
While we wind down to the May finale, the series continues this coming Friday with Episode 2.08 “Su-zakana”, “When a young woman’s body is discovered inside of a horse, Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) suggests to Jack (Laurence Fishburne) that Will (Hugh Dancy) be brought in to help crack this peculiar case.
Will has seemingly cast aside his suspicions of Hannibal, resuming their doctor-patient relationship, but Alana (Caroline Dhavernas) remains skeptical regarding Will’s true intentions and worries that Hannibal may still be in danger.
The FBI questions the man they suspect to be the killer in their case, but lack of evidence forces them to let him go. Will and Hannibal race to guard the safety of a witness they believe is in jeopardy, but it might be Will’s own judgment that is in peril.”
Also starring Aaron Abrams and Scott Thompson with Chris Diamantopoulos and Jeremy Davies guest starring.
Inspired by Nicholas Hogg’s 2015 novel Tokyo Nobody, the thriller A Sacrifice starring Sadie Sink (“Stranger Things”) is on the way from Vertical, and the official trailer has arrived.
From director Jordan Scott, the film releases on June 28, 2024.
“A Sacrifice is an emotionally turbulent story that follows American social psychologist Ben Monroe who is investigating a local Berlin cult connected to disturbing events.
“While he immerses himself in his work, his rebellious teenage daughter, Mazzy, becomes embroiled with a mysterious local boy who introduces her to the city’s underground party scene. As their two worlds head toward a dangerous intersection, Ben will need to race against the clock in order to save his daughter.”
Sadie Sink stars alongside Eric Bana and Sylvia Hoeks.
