The Delhi University Expected to Reopen Campus for Students Soon

The Delhi University is looking into the potential of reopening the campus to scientific students and is expected to give recommendations by next week, according to registrar Vikas Gupta.

Gupta made the statement during a webcast that covered undergraduate admissions in general. He stated that classes would be held in a mixed format. Students in the science stream have a lot of practical and project work in their curriculum. The University is looking at the possibility of progressively restoring the campus.

He went on to say that students in the arts and commerce should be patient. According to him, the instructions would most likely be released next week.

Before the second wave hit, forcing DU to halt all offline activity, the university had allowed final-year students to use labs while theory sessions were being taught online.
