National Capital likely to get light showers along with thunderstorm: IMD

Waking up to a pleasant Monday morning, Delhiites are likely to witness light rain showers, accompanied by thunderstorm and gusty winds.

After days of unusually hot weather reeling over the National Capital, the minimum temperature settled at 28 degrees Celsius, the normal for this time of year. As per the forecast by the Weather Department, the city is likely to see cloudy sky with light showers of rain.

The Officials of Meteorological Department said the maximum temperature is likely to settle at 37 degrees Celsius. As per the reports of Safdarjung observatory, 0.6 mm rainfall has been witnessed by the city during past 24 hours while it recorded humidity at 54 per cent at 8.30 am.

On Sunday, the maximum temperature and the minimum temperature were recorded at 36.3 degrees Celsius and 28.02 degrees Celsius respectively.
