The fangs of poisonous Islamic jihad, political Islam and Islamic radicalism are raising ugly heads in France. As acute problems invite radical measures, there is need to tackle the virulent spread of Islamism in France- a country known in history for valuing Liberty, Equality and Fraternity. President Macron’s government has framed a “Charter of Republican values” which it wants Muslim leaders in France to agree to. The Charter, inter alia, enforces secular education by giving children an “identification number” to ensure their attendance in schools.
Islamists, Mullahs, Jihadists, politicians, and activists of the Muslim world are up in arms against the new measures. Some even derided the “identification number” construct comparing it with policies of the Nazis against the Jews. The idea is to monitor students’ attendance in secular schools, reduce drop-out and keep them away from surreptitiously attending Madrasas which promote religious fundamentalism, radicalisation and indoctrination. Islamic fundamentalists sparked protests across France through the gruesome murder of teacher Samuel Paty over displaying in his class a sketch of Prophet Muhammad. Macron stood by his resolve not to renounce French laws permitting blasphemous caricatures. He pledged a crackdown against “Islamist separatism” to defend France’s secular values. His conception of freedom of expression included publications of cartoons as manifestations of free speech. A slew of measures by the French Government intends to fight religious fanaticism.
On November 18, the French President imposed a “Charter of Republican values” on the Muslim community and gave a 15-day deadline to the French Council of the Muslim Faith (CFCM) to accept the Charter. Eight leaders of the CFCM met with Macron and Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin at the Élysée palace for talks the same day. The CFCM agreed to create a National Council of Imams, which will offer official accreditation to Imams living on French soil that could also be withdrawn for violations. The Charter states that Islam is a religion and not a political movement and prohibited “foreign interference” in Muslim groups.
The French Government also unveiled a wide-ranging bill to prevent radicalisation through restrictions on home-schooling and giving children an identification number to ensure they are attending school. Parents who break the law could face up to six months in jail and hefty fines. The French Cabinet will discuss the draft law in December. It proposes harsher punishments for intimidating public officials on religious grounds.The new measures attracted strong criticism, enlivened the social media and energised Islamists across the world. Some say, “Fear is not the answer,” some yelled, then what the answer is. Each country has its laws and France has its own. Why outsiders should interfere? Those who don’t agree, don’t like or won’t abide by, should better leave France to settle in any Islamic nation of choice. Allow President Macron to implement French laws and rules to protect citizens and their values.
The Muslim world generates monumental poverty, illiteracy and visceral hatred for other religions that no democratic, civilised and educated nation can tolerate. Even Lord Shiva cannot swallow this ocean of venom. Religious and sectarian fanaticism has made many Muslim countries a living hell. Pakistan is absolutely dysfunctional. Opportunism drives Muslims therefrom to non-Islamic countries which are prosperous and peaceful. Once in, they insist on Sharia laws, spread political Islam, disrupt the social fabric, and move on further to fresher pastures. If the non-Islamic world is that cruel to Muslims as blamed, why move there? Better live in your own segregated make-believe world! Even the KSA and the UAE deny visas to Pakistanis. Remember, a rotten fish can spoil the entire pond! Islamic fundamentalists lack wisdom, so ignite flames of hatred! Don’t say, “What the Nazis did to the Jews,” rather ask “What Chinese are doing to Uyghurs?” Nazis abominable acts are comparable only with the inhuman, de-Islamising atrocities of China with Uyghurs. As Islamists have no guts to stand against totalitarian China, a liberal, gentle, law-abiding, educated and evolved democracy like France becomes easy target.
Other religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Christians, Sikhs, adopt the country they live in, obey their laws, assimilate, contribute, and prove themselves as assets to the host country, ask Americans. Many but not all, Muslims in contrast fan religious fundamentalism, terror, social unrest, jihad, separatism, crime and prove a liability to the host country. They oppose the rule of law of the land they reside.
The Muslim world is absolutely out of touch with reality. And they blame Islamophobia!
Australian PM, reacting to Muslims’ insistence on Sharia law there, clarified that Australia is based on Christian values and will remain so, and if migrant Muslims are uncomfortable, they are free to leave.
That’s also the silent prayer of all non-Islamic countries to Muslim migrants. All civilised nations must fully support France. All power to Macron.
