Mount Si Football Home Opener Tonight Features Live Game Stream and Twitter Play by Play

Although it is a perfect valley night for Mount Si’s home football opener – probably sunny and 75-80 degrees for kickoff – technology is making it easy for everyone to watch the game, or a least get a live play by play sent to their phone.

After last week’s 30-0 trouncing of #9 ranked Kennedy High School, Mount Si Football takes on rival (and Coach Kinnune’s alma mater) Issaquah High School at 7PM on their home turf, Wildcat Stadium.

For a preview of tonight’s game check out Rhett Workman’s Snoqualmie Valley Sports Journal.  It should be a competitive match up.  Issaquah is ranked #6 in the Seattle Times 4A football poll this week and the Wildcats are ranked #3 in the 3A Seattle Times poll.

You can watch a live stream of tonight’s game on the WIAA Network Video Portal.  The Mount Si Football Facebook page says the link for tonight’s game hasn’t been posted on the WIAA site quite yet, but when it is,  they will share it on their Facebook page.

There will also be a Twitter Reporter in the stands calling the play by play tonight.  MSHS Booster Club President, Jeff Mitchell, will be providing that Twitter service.  You can sign up at www.twitter.com if you don’t have an account and then follow @jmitchdadof5 to get Jeff’s live play by play tweets.

Don’t forget, the first Mount Si High School dance of the year also follows tonight’s game.  There should be a lot of traffic around the school all evening and Snoqualmie Police are strictly enforcing all speed limits –  so slow down – and Go Wildcats!
