An explosion is the topic of a shared dream, but there’s no time to discuss it with his wife. The exec is off to the office, and his marketing job. There’s something strange going on, but Burkette can’t quite put his finger on the matter.
Its another day, and Burkette wakes again to the dream of an explosion, and its off to work. Things are the same… yet different and strange at the same time. A co-worker named Swanson may hold part of the mystery of the weird happenings, and marketing slogans.
A clandestine meeting with Swanson help;s Berkette to swap notes on the strangeness in town. Is it the Russians… or maybe Martians conducting some sort of experiment? Is it something like Groundhog’s Day… only without the comedy? Or the Matrix… only without the adventure? What will Swanson and Berkette find in the tunnel under their world? What’s going on with the control room with computer equipment?
