Chevron will close its 100,000 barrel per day South African refinery for several weeks from February 1 to carry out scheduled maintenance, the company said on Thursday.
Chevron said it expected no supply disruptions.
“Supply constraints are carefully mitigated through the building up of strategic fuel supply in the time leading up to the planned maintenance and safety inspection,” Chevron said in a statement.
