In the Democrat’s view, it is not our right to use the cheapest and most readily available energy and electricity, because they have decided this endangers the planet. But at the same time, they insist it is the right of any woman to destroy the unborn child developing inside of her. Sleeping around with out protecting yourself brings about unwanted consequences and then you have to “pay the piper.”

Looking for evidence to see how hard-line the Democratic Party is on abortion? Look no further than the vote on The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (H.R. 4712) in the House of Representatives. By a vote of 241 to 183, the bill passed the House with just six Democrat votes.

As the bill’s title suggests, the bill would not only provide legal protections to babies born alive during a botched abortion, as its 2002 counterpart did, but hold doctors criminally liable who fail to give the baby treatment.

Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said the bill means that “doctors who fail to provide medical care to newborns will be held criminally accountable. There is absolutely no ambiguity here. This is about protecting babies who are born and alive, and nobody should be against that.”

According to LifeNews, holding providers criminally liable scared the Democrats away.

California Rep. Judy Chu called the bill an unnecessary ruse meant to curtail women’s health care. “This bill is a solution in search of a problem,” said Chu. “It’s unnecessary, redundant, and part of a broader attack on women’s health and reproductive health from the chamber and the Trump administration.”

In this case they insist either that no baby is ever born alive during an abortion attempt; that if they are they would have died anyway soon after; or that there already is The Born-Alive Infants Protection Act of 2002 so there is no need for H.R. 4712; and if all else fails, change the subject by telling us that most babies are aborted long before they could survive an abortion when the question is what medical care do you extend to those babies who do survive?

Pro-life sites are replete with stories of children and adults who were born during a botched abortion and went on to become healthy adults. Many, like Gianna Jessen, suffer physical abnormalities they carry for the rest of their lives.
