I do not approve of his Islamophobia but I am far more aggrieved at Bedfordshire police trying to get off the hook. Remember the murder death of Leon Briggs in custody? Det Sgt 157 Simon Hancock, aptly named, is digging a deeper hole for himself.
Plod attempt to frame Mr Yaxley-Lennon and to avoid paying compensation to those wrongly arrested. Either take a financial hit by paying up, or an equivalent amount in damage. This blogge is well on the way to doing that – to steal a phrase from MacNamara in relation to Indonesia “with no small success”.

Dear Roanna’s Nemisis, thank you for your comment. I was in on the “ground floor” of the “Justice for Leon Briggs” campaign. It was obvious that Bedfordshi*e Police would cover up his death (as plod did with Smiley Culture). Bedfordshi*e are linked to Hertfordshire Constabulary (notoriously corrupt) and Cambridgeshire (SHAC epicentre). A close watch is being kept on these.
