>My Crochet Time
>Write about your typical crafting time. When it is that you are likely to craft – alone or in more social environments, when watching TV or whilst taking bus journeys.
For me, crochet time is, whenever I can find time. I have 5 of my 6 children home with me all day long, so some days I may crochet for an hour or two, and other times I may not pick up my hook for two days.
My youngest is one and gets up between 3 and 4 am. Sounds crazy, but I love it. It’s the only time my house is quiet. So, if I’m motivated I may get in a few stitches after I check my email, blog, send orders, etc. I homeschool 3 of our girls, so if it’s a day of extra practice for them, or a day where they’re not learning something new and they just need supervision, I’ll get a few stitches in while I work with them. Other than that, naptime is my only option. And some days I just don’t pick up my hook.
My only consistent is Sunday. We live 1/2 hour from our church, so I’m guaranteed and hour of crochet time in the car. I always make sure I have a project with me……you never know when you’ll have a minute or two.
The oddest place I’ve ever taken my yarn & hook……I brought my yarn and hook to the hospital when I was in labor with my youngest. It took my mind off the pain for a while, but I didn’t get as much done as I had hoped.
>I was really tempted to take my knitting when I was in labour, but knew I'd hate everyone asking 'oh what are you knitting' etc! I took a book instea, and a crossword!
>You are a busy lady indeed! I'm amazed at all you get done. I've enjoyed reading your posts this week!
>I wish I thought of bringing my crochet project when I was in labor! Instead I brought a book but couldn't concentrate on reading.
>Stopping by from the UBP!! Love your blog! I started crocheting a few years back and I am loving it!http://nomorerecess.blogspot.com/
>6 kids?!! And homeschooling too?! You must be super-organised … so surprised you have any time for you! Now I feel completely disorganised – it's just me, my husband and a dog and I often don't get to my crochet when I want to!
>I like to crochet any time I find available….but most generally love it when Larry is home and we are just relaxing watching TV or sometimes we read books together, and he reads out loud…I love to crochet then. You said "crafts" though…When I was able to scrapbook I would do that in the morning. I am my most creative in the morning…after morning quiet time and Bible study.
>You were born to be a mom for sure! Amazing your life is. I have yet to try knitting in the car.

>Oh yes nap time is definitely the best time I get to crochet as well. That's a great idea to bring projects in the car. :)Have a great night
>Great idea to include the oddest place you've ever crocheted! I don't think I have any weird spots but I'm sure one will happen one day.
