Lovely “up” pictures, although they’d be beautiful from any angle. The Eiffel Tower shot made me smile, as it resembles (to my mind at this moment), a huge, metal alien or sumo wrestler, legs spread wide for balance, looming up over the puny humans. 🙂

(I love your header shot, too.)

That’s so funny, Janet, and I have to agree with you! Sumo wrestler or alien, both are perfect descriptions! Thanks for visiting and for your kind words. 🙂

They are all great choices For such an immense Buddha, you really captured the head perfectly. Mine wasn’t so good.
catbirdinoman said:
Thanks, Lynne. It was really hard to get a good shot of that Buddha. All my other pictures turned out horribly!! 🙂
Amy said:
Super shots. Buddha looks noble…
catbirdinoman said:
Thanks, Amy. Because he’s so huge, it’s hard to get a good shot of him! 🙂

Hehe and you look down at the peasants in the dirt? work harder work faster *you crack the whip* that rental car won’t clean itself!
catbirdinoman said:
Haha, you are so right. Just call me “Massah” and bow when you say it. 🙂
Marco said:
okay massah, whatever you say, massah. shall we clean your house while we’re at it, massah? set fire to things you don’t like, massah?
catbirdinoman said:
Hahahaha, you’re hilarious, Marco! Please, do set fire to those things i don’t like. 🙂
Marco said:
Hmmmm lots of promise in that statement – let’s see I have everything to start a fire expect matches – shall I use the toaster? Nah, better get some matches…
catbirdinoman said:
I think the toaster will be slow going. A slow drying out rather than a conflagration. 🙂
Marco said:
Do you think laundry would dry if you shove it into the toasting slot? More as an experiment in conflagration than anything else.
catbirdinoman said:
Yes, that would definitely be an experiment in conflagration!
Marco said:
rub some benzine into the stains first…set to toast and stand back…hehe
