A western Iowa woman is 17-thousand-500 dollars richer after becoming the first contestant from the state to advance to the bonus round on “Powerball, The Game Show” on Saturday. 64-year-old Anna Mae Irlmeier, who lives in the Carroll County town of Templeton, admits it was hard to convince her she’d be going on T-V.Irlmeier won 10-thousand dollars on her first “Zero Gravity” spin and decided to risk the money on the one million dollar prize. She watched the taped weekend edition of the program with her family and friends.Irlmeier plans to have a good holiday season with the dough and says she and her husband, Merlin, want to buy a new lawn mower to use at their acreage. They have seven grown children and 17 grandkids.
