Authorities are searching parts of Floyd County for a Waterloo man who vanished nearly three weeks ago. Authorities believe 20-year-old Jesse Wade Patchin has been missing under suspicious circumstances, with family members filing a missing person report October 9th after not seeing him for eight days. Authorities yesterday searched around the Powersville area just south of Charles City. Floyd County officials say nearly 30 officers searched 43 miles of ditches, looking for any signs of Patchin. The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office is being assisted by several law enforcement agencies from around the state as well as the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
