The Red Baron

October 16, 2006 at 9:02 am (Uncategorized)

The Red Baron was a legendary aircraft piolet,  shooting eighty allied fighters down in world war one.  When he first joined the military, he joined the cavlery but they were not needed any more.  When he could not fight in the cavlery he took no more than a day of lessons in flying from his friend.  His first two victories were discredited because they landed behind enemy lines so they could not be confirmed.  Normally he flew a biplane partially painted red so his allies would not shoot him down accidently.  When the lower wings of his and another one of his squadmates plane fell off he called the disigner of the airplane down to the frontlines to watch them in action.  It was then when he saw the allied Sopwith Camles that he designed the red triplane the the Red Baron was best knowen for.

The Red Baron suffered many injuries and mishaps while flying.  Once he was shot down and was back up flying in the same day.  Another time he was shot in the head.  He did not die but suffered severe headaches for the rest of his life.  He died at age twenty five when a bullet hit him from behind and went through his heart.  The Red Baron was considered by many the ace of aces.  He was a very honerable person.  Some sources say that one Christmas the pilots refused to fight and sang Christmas charols in their cockpits.

By the time of his death, the Red Baron had been through a lot.  He had been shot down by snoopy the peanuts character and was used as the name for a brand of pizza.  All in all he was a very animated figure in history all around the world.

Bodyworlds, where did the bodies come from?

May 30, 2006 at 8:44 am (Current Events)

Bodyworlds is a famous tour traveling the U.S.  It shows real (dead) people with their skin peeled back so you can see the muscles, bones, and nerves but where did the bodies really come from.  There are rumors that the bodies where prisoners but the creator of the exhibits says that they were all body doners but will release thir names.        Despite this fact the exhibit is still really interesting.  There are 50 different parts showing the inside of the body.  It is all made possiable by a process where people extract air molecules from the specimens and replace them with plastic particles.  There are three traveling groups.  They are in Denver, Boston, and Huston.  If there is an exhibit near you it is really worth seeing.

Ratchet Deadlocked

May 17, 2006 at 9:13 am (Games, Play Station 2)

Do you want a game that keeps you wanting to play it?  Do you want a game where you can choose what you do and when you do it?  If you answered yes to any of these questions you might want to play Ratchet Deadlocked.  It the latest instalment in the ratchet and clank series and it is awsome.  You get a lot of wepons and 2 floating robots to help you out.  The best weapon in my oponion is the twin vipers.  If you use them a lot you can upgrade them and they get really powerful.  Try this game.

Battlefront 2 winning on Hoth

January 29, 2006 at 5:06 am (Computer, Games, Play Station 2)

If your playing Battlefront 2 and want an easy way to beat Hoth here is an awsome technique.  When you first get started you choose the Rebels and go to base four.  Then, once at base 4, you get in a snow speeder  and head for the base that is farthest away and not under your control.  Capture this base.  After that I usually go back to base 3 and snipe at the people across the way.  You also need to keep the shield  generator from being destroyed.  If you see a walker heading toward the generator get in a turret (Hoth Dish Turret) and shoot at the walkers neck.  The neck is its weak point and will do the most damage.  Another thing I try to do is slice into one of the At-St’s(Chicken Walker) and crush my oponents.  One more thing, don’t lose Echo Base(4).  Hope it works.

Sahara is one of my all time favroite movies.  It is about three people who venture across northern africa to find a civil war ironclad ship and the source of a plague while they are being chased by an evil king.  This is really a great mix of comedy, action, and adventure.  You shouldwatch this movie.

The history of chocolate

January 28, 2006 at 5:02 am (Uncategorized)

Chocolate has a long history.  It was first discovered by the aztecs who drank it as a hot drink.  When Cortes came to the new world to take-over the aztecs he drank it and reconized its value.  He brought it back to Spain and the king decided to keep it a secret.  Finally after a few years some spanish monks told other countries cought on.  Now chocolate is a huge industry an is worth aproximately 50 billion dollers.  The main consumers are the people of the U.S.(Big Suprise)  I am doing a survey of favroite chocolates so please tell me yours.(white, dark, milk)

It’s a great game, Command & Conquer Generals

January 1, 2006 at 12:31 am (Computer, Games, Uncategorized)

This is really an awsome game.  You can create Commanches, Raptors, Crusaders, and Stealth Fighters.  There are many upgrades you can get for your buildings and units.  There are three armies you can command.  The G.L.A are resourceful and do not require power.  The Chinese use their strength in numbers to win their battles.  For every soldier you pay for you get two.  Last but not least are the U.S.A.  The U.S. uses their powerful air force to beat their enemies.  If you play this game and think it’s awsome you should get the expansion pack Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour.  Tell me what you think about this game.

Battlefront 2, Getting Blowen Up?

December 31, 2005 at 1:26 am (Computer, Games, Play Station 2)

I got a comment asking about ways to avoid getting blowen up.  Well in the beggining of a level if your are going to try to take out enemy infantry I would pick the Clone trooper, the super battle droid, the stormtrooper, or the rebel trooper.  These units all have a rapid fire gun good for quickly eleminating infantry.  If you find a secluded spot away from the battle I would pick one of the sniper units.  One last tip, if you are playing as the Republic and you get enough points the best unit for killing infantry is the clone commander.  Even though you have to let the gun warm up for a second once it starts it is deadly.  I hope the tips help.
