I forgot I had this. Seems seriously appropriate.

I’ve forgotten so much much of myself lately. Like a goldfish. I am a goldfish.

I forgot my socialism for years. More correctly I’ve swallowed too much of myself at various times and for reasons of self-protection.

Lately, I cannot hold onto anything.
