Fostering a Stronger Culture of Safer Gambling in Europe
1-7 November 2021
The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA), and its partners, invite you to join us for the inaugural European Safer Gambling Week (ESGW) on 1-7 November 2021. The theme of this first ESGW is “Fostering a Stronger Culture of Safer Gambling in Europe”.
ESGW is an annual cross-industry initiative to promote safer gambling in Europe and is being organised for the first time by EGBA in conjunction with supporting national online gambling associations.
The aim of ESGW is to raise awareness of safer gambling between customers, gambling companies, regulatory authorities and the wider public and to share knowledge and information about the existing regulations for safer gambling, the tools available to promote safer gambling, tips on how to gamble more safely, latest research, and much more.
ESGW coincides with a number of local safer gambling weeks, particularly in Ireland and the UK, and will include a series of online webinars taking place across various European countries. These webinars are free to attend, and more information can be found below.
You can join the discussion by following us on Twitter @EUgambling and using the hashtag #ESGW21.

ESA Gaming unveils feature-rich slot Zeus Gold
ESA Gaming, the innovative games provider, has launched its latest video slot, Zeus Gold, featuring rewarding Thunder Re-spins as part of its Greek myth-inspired theme.
Zeus Gold introduces a Second Chance re-spin when a scatter symbol is missing on the final reel, enhancing the potential rewards. Before these re-spins begin, players encounter a gamble wheel, providing an opportunity to significantly increase their winnings.
During the Thunder Re-spins, the grid can expand from a 3×3 to a 3×5 reel set, with the feature row offering enticing multipliers. This creates more opportunities for winning combinations and boosts the overall gameplay experience.
The slot also includes multiplier wilds, which can be triggered to further enhance payout amounts, providing players with even greater chances to accumulate substantial wins.
Zeus Gold is ESA Gaming’s third slot release of the year, following the successful launches of Tiki Stacks and Candy Drops, further expanding the company’s growing video slot portfolio.
Josefin Uppeke, Head of Game Production at ESA Gaming, said: “Zeus Gold guarantees an engaging experience with its diverse range of features designed to keep players thoroughly entertained. This game truly hits all the right spots with its popular Ancient Greek theme.
“We’re eager to see the reaction from our partners and with additional titles planned for the remainder of the year, there’s plenty more to look forward to.”

Blueprint Gaming shows off its branded game heritage in The Flintstones™
Prehistoric fun awaits in Blueprint Gaming’s latest slot based on a globally recognisable major IP, The Flintstones™. Its ever-popular Cash Collect feature leads the way in a game promising a host of enticing cash rewards and reel modifiers.
Paying tribute to the Hanna-Barbera classic, the cartoon’s iconic characters lead the way where the 5×3 reel game board sits in colourful Bedrock, as players seek to acquire each Fred collect symbol along a trail with the chance to unlock the game’s Super Bonus.
A Fred collect symbol, which lands solely on reel five, will collect all money symbols appearing on reels one to four, offering immediate cash gains and a host of free spins. Once the base game trail has been completed, the Super Free Spins symbol becomes active on reel four.
Landing two of the Fred and Barney-themed scatter symbols plus a Super Free Spins scatter triggers the Super Spins Bonus where five free spins are then awarded. Once all five of the Fred collects have been activated, the feature ends.
Players can also brace themselves for the spontaneous Yabba Dabba Doo! reel modifiers. Triggered at random on any spin, either Bonus Boosts are awarded where additional scatters are added to the reels, or Dino Wilds, where additional wild symbols appear, boosting win potential.
Flintstones showcases Blueprint’s proven ability to carefully transform cinema and television classics into engaging slot content whilst retaining a nostalgic magic feeling, with the likes of its The Goonies™, ted™ and Rick and Morty™ series all proven successes.
Its expertise in creating games that players love and making the most of popular IPs will be seen in abundance during the jam-packed summer release schedule.
Jo Purvis, Director of Marketing and Relationships at Blueprint Gaming, said: “Our bedrock-blasting release of The Flintstones™ promises players a plethora of wins through engaging features and stimulating gameplay.
“As with all our film and series-themed slots, the game’s artwork pays tribute to the cartoon’s iconic characters and adds an extra dimension to the in-game experience. We look forward to our players making the most of our latest release, through its immersive trail and exciting bonus round.”
