Player-centric affiliate goes live in sixth US state – opening follows Colorado and West Virginia 2020 approvals

BonusFinder.com has launched in Illinois, just 24 hours after the state fast-tracked sports betting regulation due to the Covid-19 lockdown.

Bonusfinder.com’s Illinois offering becomes the rapidly growing company’s six US state offering alongside its five existing state licenses and its third US opening of 2020.

Founded in 2019 with a vision to transform how the affiliate sector creates, captures, and converts traffic into profitable returning customers, with a player-centric and brand-driven approach, BonusFinder.com has made huge in-roads in the rapidly growing US market.

In April it was granted a license to operate in West Virginia – its fifth US affiliate license in less than a year, and just two weeks after Colorado regulators gave Bonusfinder.com its stamp of approval. Other licenses include New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Indiana.

Three months after launching the state’s first retail bet the Bet Rivers Sportsbook launched online and mobile sports betting in Illinois allowing customers to register from home instead of a physical bricks and mortar casino. Illinois becomes the18th state to regulate sports betting since the repeal of PASPA in August 2018.

BonusFinder.com is a finalist in the Affiliate of the Year category at this year’s EGR North America Awards.

Fintan Costello, Managing Director, Bonusfinder.com, said: “As more states open their doors to online and mobile betting and gaming we’re moving fast in the US and I’m delighted with our progress so far this year.

“Just a few weeks after launching in West Virginia and Colorado, we’re ready for the first customers in Illinois. It’s ideal timing as live sports begin to return across the US, and if activity is anything like other newly regulated states then I’m very excited for the coming months ahead.”

““Our aim is to help players ‘play with more’ within a safe and responsible environment. We’re live in six states and are presenting millions of players with the optimum sports betting and gaming options before they commit to opening a new online betting account.”

MightyTips has today announced that it has signed a partnership with SportBet, a crypto platform focusing on iGaming, in a deal that will further increase the exposure of the site to a much wider audience.

SportBet is changing the world of iGaming with its decentralised platform built on the EOS blockchain. The company’s innovative approach eliminates the need for identity verification and deposits, making it easier and more accessible for users to engage with the practice of light entertainment.

With SportBet, anonymity is guaranteed as all transactions are recorded on the immutable EOS blockchain, which strengthens transparency and fairness. And with direct payouts to the user’s EOS account, there is no need for any third-party intermediaries, therefore reducing transaction fees and increasing overall cost effectiveness and efficiency.

They hold a license from the Mwali in the Comoros Union, and the sweeping mission statement from the site is to ensure it is a hub of enjoyable and relaxing iGaming entertainment.

Lola Niles, SportBet Affiliate Manager, said: “Sportbet.one partners with MightyTips to offer users high-quality and reliable options for bitcoin betting. This collaboration combines the extensive expertise and knowledge of both platforms, providing players with a unique experience in the world of sports betting.”

Eugene Ravdin, MightyTips Communications and Marketing Manager, said: “We hope MightyTips can help SportBet elevate this exciting concept to the next level. We can’t wait to get started working with an impressive group of tech entrepreneurs.”

According to a 2022 count from Chainalysis, a blockchain analytics company, there were about 70 crypto-friendly casinos and/or bookmakers in operation. That number has skyrocketed over 300 in recent years.

The ever-increasing demand for online anonymity, a seemingly unquenchable need for a shake-up of worldwide financial institutions, and the genuine uptick in iGaming quality means the industry continues to remain an attractive proposition.

How Casino.org is helping players go beyond the hype

Gaming Americas takes a closer look at how the popular online casino affiliate is educating players and putting the power in their hands to find the best online casinos

Players are always looking for new casinos to play at and bonuses to claim. But in a market where there are literally hundreds of brands to explore, finding reputable sites that offer the experiences they are seeking is easier said than done.

While casinos spend big on branding and marketing, a lot of players turn to affiliate sites to get the lowdown on each brand so that they can decide if it’s the right casino for them or not. These sites also act as an additional layer of trust as players know they have already been vetted by the affiliate.

One of the most established and trusted affiliates is Casino.org which has been helping players to go beyond the hype being generated by casino brands and educate players in terms of what they need to consider before deciding to sign up and play at a site for almost 20 years.

The site has earned a reputation among players for the quality of its casino reviews. Each brand listed on the site is put through an extensive 25-step process to determine the score it receives including security and trust, games, bonuses, banking, mobile, localisation and customer support.

This is to ensure that all aspects of the player journey and experience are taken into account and so that the casino receives a fair score for what it has to offer.

Casino.org’s team of reviewers are always objective when putting a casino through its paces and is not afraid to highlight any areas where it has been marked down. This is because the site believes that transparency and honesty is key to fostering player trust.

Alexander Korsager, General Manager at Casino.org, says: “There remains a lack of trust between players and the online casinos they sign up to and play at, and that’s why we have developed such a comprehensive review process.

“We want players to be able to have all the information they need about a casino so they can decide whether it’s right for them or not. This means being honest about what is good and bad about each brand. Of course, we only list the top brands in each market.”

Beyond its casino reviews, Casino.org has built a comprehensive “learning hub” packed with articles, features, interviews and guides so that players can further educate themselves about playing at online casinos.

Topics covered include how to play casino games, how to gamble responsibly, how live dealer works and a vast FAQ section that answers some of the most common questions players have.

It’s also rolled out a dedicated video series that talks players through how to play the game of roulette including how to get started, six betting strategies and the difference between European and American roulette.

“Our learning hub has proved to be incredibly popular with players,” says Korsager. “It arms them with the knowledge and understanding they need to make the most of the time they have at an online casino, especially when it comes to playing games like blackjack and roulette.

“Player education is an area where we are looking to stand out and our learning hub is a very effective way of going about this.”

All of the content written and published by Casino.org – including its famous casino reviews – is produced by gambling experts. The team is made up of online casino players with deep experience and an unrivalled understanding of what makes for a good online casino.

This is a major factor in the affiliate’s rise to the top of the industry and why it is so deeply trusted by players in more than 100 countries across the world.

“Casino.org is on the side of the player and our team of experts ensure that we produce content that is detailed, accurate and correct, says Korsager. “Players come to us for our honest opinions and insights, and we can only deliver this because of the truly incredible team that we have in place.

“We have been supporting players on their mission to find new online casinos and bonuses for almost 20 years now and plan to be doing it for the next two decades and beyond.”

Enhanced features, stronger security and lower costs are key reasons for migrating from one affiliate marketing platform to another. Affilka by SOFTSWISS, a leading affiliate tracking software provider, shares tips for a smooth migration process.

The checklist prepared by Affilka by SOFTSWISS experts will help make the migration process clearer and safer, streamlining cooperation with a new software provider

Pre-Migration

At this stage, goal setting, data selection and communication issues are of the highest priority. Affilka by SOFTSWISS’ team suggests operators start with:

  • Clarifying the desired objectives and outcomes of migration and identifying the key metrics to track before, during, and after the process.
  • Determining specific data to migrate, including player and partner history.
  • Assigning a dedicated person within its team to streamline communication with platform provider specialists during the migration.

Migration

The primary aspects to address during the migration process include ensuring that all stakeholders are fully informed and aware of the process, preparing mapping files, and configuring the system. At this point, the required steps are:

  • Informing all stakeholders about the migration schedule, timeline and any potential downtime.
  • Collecting and formatting all necessary mapping files according to the new platform’s requirements. The data must be clean, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Configuring the new platform settings, including commission plans and referral links, to ensure that all integrations with other systems function correctly.

Post-Migration

At the post-migration stage, effective communication with affiliates, organisation of training, and post-migration monitoring are imperative for facilitating subsequent operational success. After the migration, Affilka by SOFTSWISS’ experts recommend the following:

  • Notifying affiliates about the migration. This allows them to update their referral links promptly, minimising the need for additional player migrations later.
  • Offering training sessions for affiliates and operator personnel on using the new platform and providing comprehensive guides and information resources, which can facilitate further operations.
  • Monitoring the system for any post-migration issues and gathering feedback from affiliates and staff. These actions can help identify the areas for improvement.

Implementing these steps will help ensure a successful migration, minimising disruptions and maximising the benefits of the new system.

Anastasia Borovaya, Head of Affilka by SOFTSWISS, summarises: “The migration timeframe depends on how quickly the client prepares the mapping files. More data means a longer process, but it typically takes a few weeks for preparation and a few hours for migration to the production environment. Quick and clear communication with the client’s team is essential for a successful migration. When the client responds promptly and clearly, the migration progresses smoothly as planned.”
