DAP provides an average of $4,500/month to those in a financial crisis.
A $25 gasoline voucher helps people get to medical and therapy appointments. That’s the case with several individuals who requests DAP assistance. Whether driving to physical therapy appointments to recover after a fall or making extra trips for doctors’ visits, WACM’s Direct Assistance Program (DAP) can help with transportation costs. Individuals must show a valid driver’s license and proof of current car insurance as a Woodstock resident to qualify.
Faced with a past due water bill and scheduled disconnection notice from the city, a mother with two children turned to WACM’s Direct Assistance Program for help. After verifying the information and need, a check from WACM was sent to the city on her behalf, and the disconnection was cancelled.
Above are examples of how WACM’s Direct Assistance Program serves people in need. This local mission relies on the support of our COMMUNITY. The gratitude expressed by recipients extends not just to DAP volunteers but to all the people who support WACM. YOUR DONATION CAN HELP DAP, HELP OTHERS! Use DONATE button on this page.
