Dannel P. Malloy – Governor, State of Connecticut

Dannel Malloy is currently serving his second term as the Governor of the State of Connecticut.During his tenure in office, Governor Malloy has helped Connecticut make progress in the areas of job creation, the improvement of public education, stabilizing the state’s finances, making long-overdue investments in the state’s transportation infrastructure, and protecting the environment.

Nancy Wyman – Lieutenant Governor, State of Connecticut

Nancy Wyman began her public service career serving on the Board of Education for the town of Tolland. She was elected and served four terms with the Connecticut State House of Representatives, where she chaired the Education Committee and held a leadership position on the Appropriations sub-committee on Elementary and Secondary education.

Ms. Wyman became the first woman to be elected as the Connecticut State Comptroller, where she served faithfully for four terms.

In 2010, Nancy Wyman was elected as Connecticut’s Lieutenant Governor.

Beth Bye – Connecticut State Senate – 5th District

Beth Bye represents the towns of Bloomfield, Burlington, Farmington & West Hartford.

State Senator Bye serves as the Deputy Majority Leader and as Senate Co-Chair of the Higher Education & Employment Advancement Committee, is Senate Vice-Chair of the Education and Human Services committees, and is also a member of the Judiciary, Legislative Management and Planning & Development committees.

Terry Gerratana – Connecticut State Senate – 6th District

Terry Gerratana has represented the Connecticut State Senate 6th District towns of Berlin, Farmington and New Britain since 2011.

State Senator Gerratana serves as the Chief Deputy President Pro Tempore for the Connecticut State Senate.

Prior to her election to the Connecticut State Senate, Ms. Gerratana served as a member of the state House of Representatives for ten years, from 1993 to 2003.

Mike Demicco – Connecticut State Representative – 21 District

Mike Demicco has been representing Connecticut’s 21st Assembly District of Farmington and Unionville since 2012.

Prior to his duties in the Connecticut General Assembly, Mr. Demicco served on the Farmington town council for four terms where he worked on the Elderly Tax Relief Subcommittee, the Ethics Ordinance Subcommittee and the Legal Services Subcommittee. He also served as the town council’s liaison to the Water Pollution Control Authority, and was a member of the UCONN Health Center Communication Committee, the UCONN Health Center Department of Correction Committee, and the Stephen Flis Scholarship Committee.

Mr. Demicco currently serves as the Connecticut State House Chair of the Environment Committee and as a member of the Public Health Committee and the Energy and Technology Committee.

Derek Slap – Connecticut State Representative – 19th Disrtict

Derek Slap was elected in 2016 and represents Connecticut’s 19th Assembly District serving the town of West Hartford, and parts of the towns of Avon and Farmington, including the Oakland Garden section of Farmington.

Mr. Slap serves as the Vice Chair of the Energy and Technology Committee, and as a member of the Environment Committee and the Planning and Development Committee.
