Goldendoodle and Sproodle Puppies
We raise our puppies in a loving environment where we pay special attention to early socialization with children and other pets. At Old Mill Doodles, we aim to raise healthy, well-socialized, gorgeous Goldendoodle and Sproodle puppies that will become the perfect new addition to your home.
Our goal is to raise a healthy low to no-shed family companion. We use the average size and shed levels of previous litters to offer an estimate of new litters.
Their first eight weeks
- They begin eating puppy food at three weeks.
- The puppies stay with their moms until 5-6 weeks.
- The puppies are given wormer at 2.4.6. and 8 weeks.
- They receive their first puppy vaccination at 6 weeks.
- They learn to go outside to potty at 5-6 weeks.
After a litter is born, your deposit holds your spot for selection. New families make their selections on a take-home day in the same order deposits were received.
Visitors are welcome by appointment several days a week. We hope to see you soon!

Goldendoodles
Goldendoodles have the same family-friendly personality as their golden retriever parent, and they’re even easier to train. You can generally count on a wavy, shaggy coat that’s 85% non-shedding*. Mild to moderate allergy sufferers tolerate then well. If you have more severe and especially dog-specific, allergies – we recommend the sproodle.
Goldendoodles Sizes and Colors
- Moyen puppies grow to about 35 – 55lbs.
- Standard puppies that are 50-75lbs. Males can (and frequently do) grow larger.
- Colors range from very light blond to dark red.
*the shed/non-shed levels are based on the average with our dogs and reports back from owners. There are always going to be exceptions, and with no way to predict an adult coat, we offer no guarantee of shed level or coat type.
Sproodles
Sproodles are very family-friendly and easy to train. Best of all, they’re non-shedding*, and we’ve found even severe allergy sufferers tolerate them well.
Sproodle Sizes and Colors– I refer to them as “mini,” “Moyen,” and “standard” simply because of the sire size. A standard sproodle is equal in size to our smaller Goldendoodles.
- Mini sproodles are typically 15-25lbs, and they’re black/white or apricot/white.
- Flynn’s Moyen sproodle puppies are both brown/white and black/white. The females 25- 30 lbs., and males 30-35 lbs.
- Diego’s sproodle females are typically 40-45lbs, males 50-55’bs (we’ve had a few males get to 60), and are available in black/white, brown/white, and brindle/white. We call Diego’s puppies the standard size.
All sizes are medium size dogs.
Sproodle and Goldendoodle Personalities
Both sproodles and Goldendoodles are easy to train and very family-friendly. They enjoy the company of other animals – but attention from their humans is all they need. They are content with your activity level and allow you to set the pace. We’ve had both breeds go to homes with different lifestyles and activity levels with great success. We have found (through our own experience) that a bit of crate time during the day makes all the difference in raising an easy-going, relaxed house dog.
