Each year, we look forward to recognizing and rewarding the creative spirit in the art of advertising at the American Advertising Awards. Although this year has been a challenging year to plan and we have to stay away just for a little bit, but we can still make the virtual Greatest American Advertising Awards just as lit!
In the video, we’re going to recognize student ADDY winners first, follow by special judges awards, and then we’ll go into the professional ADDY awards. We will give out the Best of Show awards for both student and professional in our in-person gala – hopefully on May 27. This will be the time we can give out your swag, trophies and all the fun things we usually provide. Updates will be shared via e-mail and on our website so you can get your tickets.
A reminder, if your entry won a Gold ADDY, it will be automatically forwarded to the district competition with fees paid by the club.
If your entry is awarded a Silver or Bronze ADDY, you have the right to compete at the next level of competition and may choose to pay the applicable entry fee in order to be forwarded. If you wish to advance your entry to the district level, the entry fee is $85 and you must notify Han Owens at han.owens@amarillo.gov by March 10 at 5 pm.
