The Revolution of American History XXXXXXXXXXXXx

American History X is a movie that will go down in history of course because of its true and educational meaning of the movie. History X was a movie that was based on how real and horrible racism was back in the day. It showed you how people acted and treated other race, when tension was really thick back then. History X seems like a movie everyone should watch, to get a good look of how racism progressed from back then to now. Some people might have another out look on this movie but either way the movie speaks the truth.

I really liked the movie because it gave really good examples of how white people really didn’t like other ethnic groups. Plus it showed how being an older sibling can have such an effect on your younger siblings. Because sometimes if you don’t show a good role model as a older sibling they can be consequence in the end. It also showed you have who you thought was your friends, can wined up being your worst enemies of your life, prime example the dudes ex girlfriends she was a joke. As he was in jail she got more into the whole kkk thing and was not the women he left when he went to jail. Same with the big guy who was rude to his sister, mother and tried to corrupt his younger brother.

With everything said and done American History X was a really good movie and has its purpose. It was hard seeing some parts at times but it was the truth and sometimes the truth hurts. History X is a movie I think they should show in High School so people can know how really good they have it now in days. Overall I’m glad we was able to watch it in class and talk about as a group. American History X a movie that will be around for many years to come.

The benefits of beening Smart

In the movie it talks about a regular teenage boy who is attending high school. The only difference is that he’s smarter then most high school students. With friends who are also smart and know how to use there knowledge to the full extent. During the movie you could tell who had brains, but also had brains and knew how to use it to get what they wanted. Some people are smart with no common sense, but then you have others who have both brains and common sense. Which sometime can be dangerous for themselves and others around them.

Out of the four boys you have the ring leader Derek  who started it all by using his brain, and handing out cheat sheets. Who everyone sees as a good student and innocent but the complete opposite. Derek knows how to use people and words to get what he wants in the movie. Then you have Ben which seems like he’s confused and doesn’t really know how to handle things personally. Ben might be smart but has a tendency to have no common sense in some situations. Example when the head leader Derek pulled the gun out on the boy and Ben starting kicking the boy when there was no need. Besides Derek and Ben you have Verg which is the typical follower, who tries to be a hard ass but is as soft as a babies bottom. Verg acts as if he knows how to get ladies, knows when to be a hard ass and knows what he is doing. But it goes to show you that even smart people don’t always have the best knowledge of everything. They might be smart and good at school but other then that sometimes they can be dumb with other things.

Then you have Hon the get away car who acts like a dick toward Verg but cares for him like a little brother. Bottom line is that even though you are smart it doesn’t mean you know everything or know how to handle everything. Derek, Ben, Hon and Verg simply had to find that out the hard way in the movie. The movie also showed you how peer pressure can have an effect on you in high school and outside of high school.  So in life just really be careful of how you pick your friends and what you are getting yourself into. Because sometimes your friends can be the worst thing you invested your time in.

What you can and can not do in Our social group

Life is full of written rules and unwritten rules that takes part in our lives everyday. The only thing is that are rules really necessary? Through experience I believe rules are necessary, not all but most of them. If we didnt have rules or unwritten rules of our own. Then who knows how life would be today in society. To show you that unwritten rules are just as affective as written rules, I will be using my social group as a example.

For starters In my social group back at home we really didn’t have any unwritten rules we went by. It always just naturally came into our group with dos and don’t. To be more specific one was that when ever we all hang out we must always have fun, no matter what situation we are in. This rule is implying that regardless of how we feel or act towards each other we will have fun when we hangout together. Second is no put downs, nobody has the right to talk about anyone behind there back or to there face. Third, regardless of where we go in life we will always keep in touch prime example college, which well still do till this day.

Unwritten rules aren’t something that you can just think of in your head like that. Unwritten rules just comes to you through experience with either your social group, society, life, relationships etc.

Fourth no excuses play like a champ, we all work hard for what we want and will back each other up for what ever kind of dream that person has. Following that when ever there is a problem in our social group instead of holding it in we get our feeling out and express the way we feel. The number one most important rule is never to lie to each other which is the biggest rule of them all not to do, other wise we wouldn’t be able to trust you again. This is a rule that plays for both sexes in our social group which is never to date a friend ex in the group that’s a no no.

Through experience with our social group one rule that we all learned to adjust to, was the word no that is pretty hard to say within our social group. Last but not least is knowing when one of us aren’t feeling to good or has a problem on our shoulder. The key word is when one of  us say I’m fine when in reality we know that they aren’t fine but need someone to talk to and get some things off there chest. So with everything said and done, our ten unwritten rules might sound funny but they all apply to us in some way.

My lil click of Friends Edited

Back at home I have my little click of friends that I chill with have fun with and create tons of memories. We know how everyone acts and there boundaries when it comes to playing around. We all get along and chill every weekend if we don’t have other plans. Our little group consists of around eight people and all of us work and have a car, gota love it. One of our friends who aren’t really in our group, but hangs out with us time to time.  Tried to become more our friend and become a member of our group, which in my mind wasn’t happening.

I wasn’t trying to be a dick or anything but the way they acted and persuade there self wasn’t up to our standard group. This person would always have to cause a scene and acted as if they were better than a couple of people in our group. With me that doesn’t flow with our group of friends, nobody talks about anyone behind their back its mean and shady. On top of that they would act like they didn’t know us when they was around there other friends, talk about fake.

When all was said and done I think they started getting the picture when we stop hitting them up to go places and really stopped talking to them. We wasn’t trying to be mean but that was just how it was, certain people just don’t fit in every group they want to be in.

Story of my life EDited

Thanks to My Brother

Growing up in my family was a blast. I have a ton of cousins, aunts and uncles. I also have a younger sister and an older brother, who was suppose to be a role model for my sister and me. Not! As early as I can remember my brother didn’t have the best common sense.

The first time he got high he didn’t know the side effects. He went crazy and our parents had to take him to the hospital. He was grounded but didn’t learn from his mistakes. Instead he kept getting high and tried to be sneaky about it, but my mom figured it out when her lighters keep disappearing which was for hair only. Soon his grades started slipping and our parents had to jump down his throat. Once my parents had the talk with him his grades went from D’s to B’s.

Besides just the smoking and grades my brother got a girl pregnant at the age of 17 and parents were pissed. Mainly because they told him time after time to wrap up. I guess it went in one ear and out the other. Even thought my brother did mess up a lot, He was still there for me when I needed him. Weather it was for school or just someone I needed to talk to and we spent time with each other here and there.

Looking back at all my brother bad habits and things my brother was doing. I know I didn’t want to act that way, especially when I knew I had a sister on the way. I never smoked; ok yes I did but only to try it. I always keep A’s and B’s throughout my middle school years and my high school years. When I did have my little set of girlfriends I never got any of them pregnant. I was too smart to do a dumbass mistake like that. As the years went I was the goody to shoes in the family mainly by not getting in trouble with the law and keeping up with myself, unlike my brother did unfortunately.

My brother was doing really well up until he got another girl pregnant. During this time he had a good job at a car shop working fulltime. Only thing was he still was acting like he was still 17 with his habits. Everything caught up to him the day he went to jail because of not paying child support. At first I was upset about the situation but it only made me stronger at who I am. Plus I found out that my little cousin was looking up to me as well as my sister

Now in days my brother is cleaning up his act and getting his act together finally. He’s going to school, has a girlfriend and a stable job. Other than that, I’m still doing what I got to do to stay in head of the game and make something with my life. I’m getting good grades up here and found a good set of friends up here in college. I figure that everything happens for a reason in life and it depends on how you look at it. My brother messing up gave me the motivation to strive and go all the way with my career.

Overall tell this day I actually thank my brother, for acting a fool when he was younger so that I knew what not to do and act like. I’m in college now heading towards my dream of becoming a doctor in physical therapy making that money. My brother is thinking about going into the navy now this time next year and will come out making that money just like me. Now all we have to wait for, his our little sister who wants to be a pediatrician when she grows up. Life is full of unexpected situations and lifelong turn a rounds. It just depends on how you utilize the situation. So once again I thank my brother for helping me become who I am today.

MY lil Click.. of Friends

Back at home I have my lil click of friends that I chill with have fun with and tons of memories. We know how everyone acts and there boundries when it comes to playing around. We all get along and chill every weekend if we dont have other plans. Our lil group consist of around eight people and all of us work and have a car, gota love it. So anyways one of your friends who isnt really in our group but hangs out with us time to time.  Tried to become more our friend and become a memeber of our group, which in my mind wasnt happening.

I wasnt trying to be a dick or anything but the way they acted and persade there self wasnt up to our standard group. This person would always have to cause a sene and acted as if they was better then a couple of people in our group. With me that doesnt flow with our group of friends, nobody talks about anyone behind there back its mean and shady. On top of that they would act like they didnt know us when they was around there other friends, talk about fake.

Phony People V.S Real People

Today in the teenage world it seems like people have such a split personality when it comes to being real and phony. Some times people who you think are your bestfriends or just your friend in general, tend to back stab you. Phony Friends or people will act one way to you and when they get around other people will act like a totally different person. Example my ex bestfriend who was mad chill and had a great peronality up intill we got around people she acted all gehtto and hood when she was completely not. While a real friend or person will act the way they normally do when its just the two of yall or a crowd. Phony friends are sometimes hard to figure out but once you do its a good feeling. One less person you have to worry about, and wont have to worry about them anymore.

Real friends aka real people will  never lie to you first of all ,two they will always be there for you and give you addvise, aswell as wont talk about you behind your back. Real people tent to give off a good vibe the first time you meet them, while phony people your kinda septical, when the first time you meet them by there actions. Example one of my friends Sam who seemed real at the time started talking about our other friends and when confronted about it acted like he never said it aka phony people. Its like Real people seem to be hard to find now in days becasue people are always doing something wrong to other people and really just not caring no more, I guess its because its easy to make new friends now and days.

So now Im at the age to where Im seeing all the bad habbits and things my brother was doing. I know I didn’t want to act that way exspecially when I knew I had a sister on the way.     Now in days my brother is cleaning up his act and getting his shit together finally. Im still doing what I got to do stay in head of the game and make somthing with my life. I still am getting good grades found a good set of friends up here in college and back at home. I figure that everything happens for a reason in life and it depends on how you look at it. My brother messing up gave me the motivation and strive I needed to go all the way and keep that imagine with my family.

Overall tell this day I actually thank my brother, for acting a fool when he was younger so that I know what not to do and act like. Slap some common sense hero

If i could be a hero, my hero would be called slap some common sense hero. People do some stupid things and say some stupid shit that shouldnt be said.Which is where I come in to play and slap them silly to where they wont do anything stupid or say the wrong thing. Everyday you have someone acting a fool right? yes so i would flash right by them to where they wouldnt even know it and slap the shit out of them before they could act a fool some more. That’s right I would also have super quick running capiablity, be able to multiply like crazy, and be able to read people minds when they are about to do something stupid and on top of that x-ray vision.

Even though I would have quick running capiablity, I would also have my super sonic slap a bitch gun. If im all the way in china and dont feel like running I will set my gun to a disination to shoot a hand and slap a bitch. The reason why I like the whole concept of slap a bitch into common sense is because in high school i had dumbass people that did dumbass things. Today people I know in college still do some dumb things, I would just like to be the one that slaps some sense into them so they wont act or do anything stupid again.

How did You get where you are today..?

What helped me strive to where I am today? For me I would have to day my parents and myself. I never had anyone say I wasn’t going to make it in life or anything like that. I do have plenty of friends who actually had to endure things like that from there peers.

Both my  parents have good jobs and gave me my brother and sister what ever we wanted. My parents would always tell me get a education because today in life you wont make it without one. My mother works at a post office and my father works at a prison as the culinary supervisor. My mother went to a two year college and my dad went into the military. looking back at my parents give me the motivation i need to be successful.

Everyone I grew  up around with was never a negative aspect or would put you down. But besides just my parents the biggest person who had the greatest affect on me would have to my cousin Jodi. Who is still struggling with her Lung transplant till this day, before she had the whole lunge transplant she went to temple university. Jodi would always tell me make sure, u go to college so we can both show the family how our generation now’s what we are doing.

Other then just my cousin Jodi and my parents, seeing my friends going through teen years with people telling them that they are not going to make it. Made me want to tell them that they was going to make it and be successful in life. So I be damn If I’m telling my friends that they are going to be something and I myself not doing the same thing. When all said and done thanks to my parents mom and cousin and myself always having a positive expectation really paid off.
