Happy Memorial Day, 2024…

Hello again Sasquatch Fans of All Ages…

As always, I hope all is well with all of you.

Happy Memorial Day to All!

It’s wet and rainy here in Tok this weekend. Hopefully, it’s a bit nicer wherever you are so you can enjoy time outside and the traditional BBQ!

Possible objects being thrown: I received some third hand (possibly fourth hand) information about some people camping in RVs and having things thrown at their vehicles. It’s unknown when this actually occurred and the exact location.

Two families were camping together in the Tok area and were gathered around a fire in the evening when what they believed were several small stones, were thrown and struck the roof of their RVs. The men in the group immediately shouted for this to stop. The activity stopped and the families went back to enjoying the fire. As they retired for the evening to their individual RVs, the activity began again. Both families were frightened enough that they did not venture outside of their RVs to investigate. As told by the person reporting this to me, this activity lasted about an hour. Eventually the families were able to get some sleep. The following morning both families left the campground early.

I have not been able to contact the person reporting this to try to get contact information of the people involved. When I asked if anyone had checked the roofs of the RVs in the morning to see if any of the “small stones” were present or to see how much damage had been done, the person responded that he didn’t know.

It’s possible that squirrels could be the culprit. They could have been tearing pinecones from the tops of the trees above the RVs and stopped when the men yelled in the evening, as well as resuming when the families had turned in for the night. However, the Tok area does have previous instances of objects being thrown at people and their vehicles that are not attributed to squirrels. It’s hard to make a judgement on this without any further details being known. I’m calling this one inconclusive.

“Spring Forward” means Spring Ski Tour!

Hello Again Sasquatch Fans of All Ages!

Did anyone sleep in too late?

There’s plenty of studies showing how Daylight Savings causes problems with normal sleep patterns and hurts your overall wellbeing.

Did you suffer any of these problems this morning:

Did you feel restless or confused, like you should be doing something outside?

Did your knees, ankles and feet cry out in boredom?

Did your skis give you dirty looks because they feel abandoned?

If you suffered one or more of these conditions, it’s probably not a sleep problem.

“Spring forward” could have a different meaning for you! At Sasquatch Tracker it means Spring Ski Tour time!

Yesterday’s post was just the sneak peek at the 2024 Spring Ski Tour design. Today is the first day of the Tour!

You’ll be ready for everything from steep and deep powder to peaceful easy trails to your favorite Apres Ski activities wearing the official 2024 Spring Ski Tour shirt.  It works equally well in the afternoon sun as it will in after midnight party conditions.  This is a must for Sasquatch Fans who ski, Sasquatch Fans who ski during spring break, just about everyone else!

How the tour works: You post comments below about your ski-ventures (Extreme, Alpine, Nordic, Telemarking or even Snowboarding) from now until the snow conditions go sour. Participation is optional. I’m just asking you to please support personal research, the Boreal Bigfoot Research Group and the Boreal Bigfoot Expo by purchasing a cool looking shirt.

Activity in Wasilla and the Tok Area Fan Club…

Hello Again Sasquatch Fans of All Ages…

As always, I hope all is well with you!

I finally have some time away from my job so I can get caught up on Boreal Sasquatch stuff!

Last month I was contacted by a witness from Wasilla who had an up-close encounter that began with some rock throwing that lead to a sighting of three individuals at about 10 yards. The witness also sent some photos of tree structures believed to be connected to the original encounter. Follow-up investigation will resume shortly.

Meet JW and his brother JW. Yes, they have the same initials, that’s JW on the left, and JW on the right… A co-worker of mine mentioned she had a couple boys who are big fans and that they had collected a few bigfoot / sasquatch things. When I heard this, I asked if they had a track casting. You can figure out what happened from there. The boys were excited to have the casting “home” at the cabin with the rest of their collection. Sasquatch Tracker thanks both of you for being such awesome fans!

Nahganne: Tales of the Northern Sasquatch…

Hello again Sasquatch Fans of All Ages…

As always, I hope all is well with all of you..

Fellow Boreal Bigfoot Researcher, Red Grossinger, recently published a revised and expanded version of his popular Nahganne: Tales of the Northern Sasquatch!

If his name sounds familiar to you, it’s probably because you know him from the 2023 Boreal Bigfoot Expo. Red was one of our guest speakers. Red gave an interesting talk and updated all of us on the Sasquatch activity going on in the Yukon Territory. He also appears as a subject matter expert in Alaska Bigfoot Highway that was produced by another one of our guest speakers, Aleks Petakov of Small Town Monsters.

Red is of mixed Algonquin – Huron ancestry and was raised in the Laurentian Mountains of Quebec. He is a retired decorated Canadian Army officer with 30 years of service working with NATO and the UN. He’s an avid outdoorsman and enjoys Sasquatch research.

Red and I first met a few years ago and corresponded off and on via email. In 2011 he published his highly successful Sasquatch Research Manual.

I purchased a copy in 2014 and have referred to it frequently, re-reading chapters and referring to the descriptive illustrations. Did I mention Red did the illustrations in this manual too?

Sasquatch Tracker highly recommends both of these books by Red… If you love Sasquatch and learning about how to conduct research, you won’t be disappointed!

Sasquatch Tracker goes one on one with Brent Thomas of Paranormal Portal..

Hello again Sasquatch Fans of Ages!

Happy New Year to all! Yep, I know we are already a week into 2024, which shows time slips away quickly. As always. I hope everything is fine with all of you!

I spent this morning with Brent Thomas of Paranormal Portal. Brent and I met each other while we were at Stephan Major’s Spokane Valley Sasquatch Round Up in June of 2023. We actually shared a table during the conference.

Anyway, we both wanted to do a podcast together and we finally had the time to schedule it. (You know how that goes. There’s always this thing in your life the interferes with what you really want to do called adult responsibility.)

Brent and I discussed the various cryptid primates of Alaska and then moved to Boreal Sasquatch. We talked a bit on the legends and history among Native Alaska Groups and then we concentrated on Boreal Sasquatch intelligence and how it is reflected in their behavior including seasonal migration. Yep, a little bit of something for Sasquatch Fans of all types!

I’m not sure exactly when the podcast will be released, but I’ll be posting when I find out so be sure to check back!

Season’s Greetings…

Hello Again Sasquatch Fans of All Ages…

Here we are in Christmas week! I hope all is well with all of you and that everyone is able to be with family and friends on Christmas Day!

Tok had a series of Holiday Bazaars between mid-November and just last weekend (December 16th) and my family did quite well and we made a bit of Christmas $$$. I have always been a craftsman and enjoyed woodworking, and the bazaars have always been a great place to sell various things I have created throughout the year.

My children enjoy the bazaars too. They sell everything from survival kits to jewelry. I also use the bazaars as an “outreach” function and enjoy talking to other locals about their Boreal Sasquatch encounters. Thank you to all who attended and showed support!

The Boreal Bigfoot Research Group was launched this year. The “BBRG” is made up of the Boreal Bigfoot Expo committee members and a couple of other local researchers from various parts of Alaska. We all work together well and enjoy talking about Boreal Sasquatch and other Alaskan Cryptids, so it was a natural move to form the group. I’ll post more as we begin to do more together. For now, you can listen to a couple of podcasts on Beans Baxter’s “Alasquatch” podcast site that we recently participated in.

Thanksgiving & Black Friday…

Hello again Sasquatch Fans of All Ages…

Happy Thanksgiving to all!  I hope everyone had a pleasant day and enjoyed the feast!

If any political, religious, woke vs. not so woke arguments came up, and I know they did, I hope you quickly ended the nonsense by howling like a Boreal Sasquatch.  Yep, that’s my odd sense of humor coming through.

My regular Black Friday advice still stands:  AVOID IT!

Take some leftover turkey and make a sandwich.  Then go for a nice hike.  If you didn’t eat the sandwich, take it with you on the hike.  Go skiing if you think the snow is too deep to hike in.  The world has grown a bit crazier since last the last Black Friday and this craziness is bound to rear its head at a sale somewhere.   You’ll live longer if you get fresh air and are pro-Sasquatch.  Individual results may vary, but it won’t be by much.
