Eversince I began making my own patterns, my dream has been to create a doll with bendable parts i.e. arms & legs, it took only 7 years ;P . Making so many ethnic dolls lately I finally was inspired to attempt the dream; it came quite naturally and easily, and as a result I’ve put more time and effort into her hair styles and dressing.
Inka is quite bendy, you can even tie knots with her arms and legs and in addition she can easily sit without any back support.
With this pattern you will get:
Main Body with or without panties/bikini bottom
4 Hair styles (Long and Straight, Straight with bangs, Curly and Afro) and suggestions for variations
2 Dresses made using the same yarn weight & hook as the main body
1 Dress made with cotton thread and smaller size hook than the one used for the body
Bikini top
Shoes
Although I’ve made several additional hair and dressing styles e.g. rasta, spikes, braids, bun(s), sporty, kimono I could not put them into this pattern as it would become to long and most probably would not get published as the ideas just never end, one creates another three and this goes on. I might publish an extension with the mentioned styles or an ebook or even a family with a husband, babies and kids. For now those who will buy this pattern can create several styles, mix and mach and in addition I’m sure you might figure out how to make your own style.

Although I’m not a religious person I do like to believe that there is something greater than us, most probably it is human nature to believe. After reading Les Thanatonautes (The Thanatonauts, death-nauts/sailors if translated from Greek) andL’Empire des Anges (The Empire of the Angels) by Bernard Werber I really want to believe in the existence of angels. I’m not sure why these books are not translated yet in English maybe because they touch a subject we so much avoid talking, facing and even accepting, the death; I consider them masterpieces and that they will become classical in the future, at least in countries that they will get translated.
Anyway this pattern was inspired from The Empire of the Angels.

This pillow case was inspired from several leftovers of yarn that I could not find use for. I thought that the original granny-square, although lovely, it is too typical and as a result i challenged myself to alternate the technique a … Continue reading →
I love pomegranates, i’m actually addicted to them visually, symbolically and taste-wise.
In regions that they grow, including Cyprus (where I live) they symbolize prosperity and fertility and are often given as wedding favours. In China it is also a very common symbol for wishing the new year to be a ‘fruitful’ one.
This is a PDF pattern with which you can make a quick Pomegranate for yourself or as a present to the loved ones.
