Going, Going… track one – all the tracks are named after places in the USA. The journey starts in Maine, the North-East of the States in the so-called New England area. Kittery is the second longest song on the album albeit one that takes a long time to get going. The first minute is a swirl of cymbal and near-silence before the other instruments kick in. What starts as a gentle thing, builds into a shimmering post-rock monster with an unrelenting keyboard refrain. Personally I find the latter a bit of an intrusion and without it I’d rate this track a lot higher.
