荒戍落黃葉，
浩然離故關。
高風漢陽渡，
初日郢門山。
江上幾人在？
天涯孤櫂還。
何當重相見？
樽酒慰離顏。

英文翻譯 / English Translation﹕

Yellowed and shrivelled leaves fall adrift here in a desolate border town,
Determined to leave your hometown, here you are saying goodbye.
On this day of gusty winds you are about to board a ferry bound for Hanyang,
By the time the sun had risen, you will the Yingmen Mountains sight.
How many now remains here on the upriver?
Hope your lone boat that is about to sail a world away would return sometime.
When shall we see each other again, wonder I?
Hoping to parting sorrows comfort, let us drink up a chalice of wine.
