Narration of Allamah Arbali in Syed Abdul Wahab’s ‘The Shadowless Prophet of Islam’

Allamah Arbali narrates in his ‘Al Muaddatul Qurba‘ as quoted by Syed Abdul Wahab in his book ‘The Shadowless Prophet of Islam’,

“One day the Messenger of Allah (upon whom be peace and blessings) kissed the forehead of Imam Hasan (peace be upon him) once and that of Imam Husayn (peace be upon him) twelve times. Lady Fatima al-Zahrah (peace be upon her), their mother and the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (upon whom be peace and blessings) enquired of Allah’s Apostle for the reason for kissing her eldest son only once. The Messenger of Allah (upon whom be peace and blessings) replied, “In the forehead of my youngest grandson, I see twelve lights of Twelve Imams and so I kissed the Twelve Imams in this son, and in the forehead of my eldest grandson, I see only one light (which is a culmination by inheritance of all of the lights) of the Twelve Imams. He will flourish in Iraq and his name will be ‘Abd Al Qadir. I kissed the light of that illustrious child in the forehead of this Imam.” (Allamah Arbali’s Al Muaddatul Qurba).
