Let’s skip the chit chat. I think we just need to get to it…shall we?
Here’s what you will need:
1 chuck roast
oil for browning
carrots
onions
potatoes
celery
mushrooms
1 small can tomato sauce
1 roasting bag and seasoning
2 Tbsp flour
Instructions:
Brown roast in oil.
Put 2 tbsp flour in the roasting bag and shake. Add roast to the bag.
In the meantime, cut up your veggies. Oh and just ignore that dirty fork on the side…
Mix tomato sauce with seasoning, add water, pour over roast and vegetables.
Cook at 350 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours.
This was hands down one of my grandmother’s favorite Sunday lunches…for obvious reasons.
Only I don’t remember her kitchen sink ever looking like this. And she didn’t even have a dishwasher.
What’s that all about?
And just forget you ever saw that dirty sink.
Okay?
Thanks.
I’ll owe you one.
oh my, i can even smell it…… yum!
