[Covina] Northview quarterback James Jimenez dominated the game leading the Vikings to a 42-7 victory over San Marino at Covina District Field.
Northview scored on their first drive when Jimenez took it in from 1-yard out.
The Titans came out strong driving down field and tying it up when Andrew Karapetyan got in from one yard making it 7-7 after the extra point.
Vikings took control from as there Jimenez found Deshon Thompson for a 25-yard touchdown late in the first quarter.
Jimenez again found a Thompson, this time Damion, from 46-yards to make it 21-7 going into the half.
Northview then opened the game up when Jimenez hit on an 18-yard strike and just 17-seconds later after the kickoff was fumbled Jimenez found Damion on a 32-yarder to paydirt.
Cheo Medina capped off the scoring midway through the fourth quarter with a 10-yard touchdown run.
Jimenez finished 13 of 20 for 272 yards and 4-touchdown passes, he also had 10-carries for 78 -yards and a score.
The Thompson brothers each had a pair of touchdowns.
Sean Han and Seth Canuel played a tough defense for the Titans putting pressure on the quarterback.
San Marino (0-2) goes home and host El Monte next week, Northview (2-0) travels to West Covina.
