Sainsbury Select Barbaresco

Typical work day.
Sometimes I forget my place.
Mass Spec janitor.

Name: Sainsbury Select Barbaresco
Type: red wine
Recipe: Crush about 10 cloves of garlic (really mash the buggers) and remove the skins.  Shove these into a chicken cavity along with fresh dill and thyme, until full.  Bake at 160C for an hour then cook some red rice.  At Chicken +1.5 hours, pull the chicken out of the oven and make some fresh gorgonzola based salad dressing for an enormous salad (leave some gorg out for dessert, though).  Yum.

Venue: house

Review/notes: Label says cherries and liquorice.  I get the cherries, and the other flavours (whatever they were) stood up well to the harsh spices and metallic cheese and sweet veg in the dinner.  Steep at full price (10 quid) it seems a reasonable buy at £7.50 and with the extra 5% off for bulk buy I might use this as part of the wine cabinet restock this autumn.
