Rawnsley Estate Shiraz Grenache Mourvedre

Shopping at Tesco
And buying some penny wine.
‘Very little helps.

Name: Rawnsley Estate Shiraz Grenache Mourvedre
Type: red wine
Venue: pizza in front of the tele

Review/notes: This was really far too nice for pizza, but the pizza was far nicer than we usually order (from Rustico, down the hill…mine a Bella Ragazza with pepperoni, artichoke hearts, basil, and goat cheese).  I bought the wine at Tesco where it is normally priced £10.99 but marked 2 for £11.00.  The discount didn’t ring up, though and I had to go to Customer Service who scanned the bottles once then walked over and got the tag off the wine shelf.  Then they rescanned the bottles and put in some magic code and asked for my card to refund the difference.  Thing is, they refunded as if I had purchased 4 bottles (I paid £21.98 and they put £21.96 back on my card).  Two bottles of decent wine quite literally for tuppence.
