On Tuesday, Nov. 13, students gathered in Beckham Hall for the sixth annual Fast-a-Thon, a consistently well-attended event coordinated as part of the University’s observation of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. For the week leading up to the event, and also at the banquet, students donated meals and points to Amazing Grace Food Pantry, and they have raised 9,000 points for A gmazing Grace so far. Students may still donate points online until Nov. 18.

The dinner banquet, at which attendees were offered free food from Haveli India and t-shirts, featured speakers and performances by a capella groups Onomatopoeia and Vocal Debauchery. This year’s Fast-a-Thon was sponsored by Interfaith Justice League, Muslim Students Association, Office of Student Activities and Leadership Development, Student Budget Committee, Office of Religious and Spiritual Life, Office of Community Service, Bon Appétit, ResLife, Chi Psi, and Haveli.
