Stephen Chapman

The second incarnation of my blog

This week I have been…

ImageEnjoying… Crystal Palace being promoted to the Premiership. It’s going to be a stressful and tough year especially when the top scorer is injured until Christmas, the second top scorer has been sold and the third top scorer will be 40 soon!

Watching… an angry film called End Of Watch.

Shaving… properly for the first time in over a year. And afterwards I saw my Grandad staring back at me in the bathroom mirror. He was a good looking man!

Visiting… Wendover in Buckinghamshire for a client meeting. I was surprised that this lovely town has never been on a route before. The impressive part was the road in/out of the town which overlooks the Aylesbury Vale which fell away steeply from the road for miles and miles.

Experiencing… a classical concert. This was Pete’s idea and it wasn’t the most approachable music. A very talented string quartet performed the classical equivalent to modern jazz and it wasn’t my thing. However, it’s important to try new things and we had been talking about going to the local residential music school for a long time. You can imagine the audience that night – all white, old and upper class.

Beginning… our summer holiday.
