Rising from being a “Victim of Manipulation” to becoming a “Champion of Change”

Earlier in the month I was in New Delhi for launching a Book titled “Narendra Modi: A Victim of Manipulations”. After the inaugural lighting  of the Lamp, I was reflecting on the thoughts of Mr. Arun Jaitley and author Anwar Manipaddy regards NaMo’s rise from being a “Victim of Manipulation” to becoming a “Champion of Change”.

Opponents and Mud slinging Journalists will always be around to dig up some spicy negative spin on your past from decades ago – But a “True Champion” is someone that rides against the negative wave and “Creates Change for good of the people around”. NaMo was written off after the Godhra incident, CountryMen called him names, Countries like USA chastised him and denied Visa. But, We saw how Modi has risen back to prove all the naysayers wrong. The same countrymen have voted him in as the Best PM candidate. The same USA is turning around to come back with Visa. This was all made possible by NAMO continuing to do good proving distractors wrong time and again.

I had similar stuff happen with Manipulated junk written about me regards a US Visa case couple of decades ago and every so often some mud digger will try and bring that up but I keep chugging knowing the path I am trekking is good. Here are some of my personal lessons are similar to that of Modi reflected in this book and lessons I learnt the hard way-
1) Shit happens out of our control in life. People will Manipulate the news but you have to chug ahead doing good by the laws of the land.
2) It takes a ton of determination to rise everyday when so many are out there to call you all kinds of Names and pull you down. But you have to keep your focus on your vision ahead.
3) It takes decades of good work, first “Disregarding Manipulations”,  “Changing yourself” and then “Causing Positive Change” around to becoming a “Champion of Change”.
4) It takes a lot of Guts to Stand up against the Naysayers to “Do the Good you stand for” and “Continue to do the good you can” everyday every way.

To be a “Champion of Change” is not easy when you a “Victim of Manipulations” – but rising above all these naysayers is what makes you a “True Champion”. Every “Victim of Manipulation” by the Press can come back and evolve as “Champion of Change” with perseverance.
