“Kaise Kahoon”(1945) was directed by Moti B Gidwani for Pancholi Art Pictures, Lahore. The movie had Raagini, Jageerdaar, Akhtar, Najam, G N Butt, Durga Mota etc in it.
This obscure movie had eleven obscure songs in it.
Here is the first song from “Kaise Kahoon”(1945) to appear in the blog. Details of this song are not available. Going by the uploader, this song is sung by Zeenat Begam and lyricist is D N Madhok. HFGK is silent about the singer as well as the lyricist. The voice does sound lik Zeenat Begam, though there is no way to check who is the lyricist of this song. The movie had three songs in it, viz. D N Madhok, Moti B A and Qamar Jalalabadi. There are a frw “ambuwa” songs, viz. those belonging to “Premnagar”(1940), “Namaste”(1943), “Pagdandi”(1947) and “Sabak”(1950) that were penned by D N Madhok, so one can as well assume that D N Madhok is the lyricist of this “ambuwa” song as well.
Music is composed by Pt Amarnath.
