Atul’s Song A Day- A choice collection of Hindi Film & Non-Film Songs

Allah allah kyaa adaayen janaab laaye hain

Posted on: April 7, 2012

Till one year ago, this blog was largely a one man show. But with time, music lovers joined in and became regulars, and a few regulars became contributors too. With time, some of these contributors began to achieve their own landmarks in the blog, viz. century of contributions etc.

It gives me great pleasure to announce that with this post, yet another of our regular contributors completes his century.

Yes, this post marks the 100th lyrics contributed by Atif M in this blog. Atif M in fact is one of the earliest contributors of lyrics to this blog, with his first contribution appearing in this blog on 31 january 2011. He inspired others to contribute lyrics as well and today will have a good number of lyrics contributors, who keep the blog buzzing with their contributions.

The first contribution of Atif M was a “Helen” song from “Wo Kaun Thhi” (1964). By coincidence, or may be not, the 100th song too is a Helen song. This song to my mind is a very special song because it is composed by my favourite music director Ganesh. This song is a rare song from a rare moview called “Kahin aar Kahin Paar” (1971). It is sung by Asha Bhonsle, Shamshad Begam and Mahendra Kapoor. the song is lip synced by Helen, Jayshree T and Joy Mukherji on screen.

Here is this song which is wonderful to listen to and wonderful to watch as well. I am sure music lovers will enjoy this song. And here is hoping that we will continue to get many more great lyrics from Atif M in future as well.

lootne aaj hum ko aaye hain
jaayen dil waale kahaan bach ke

kya adaayen janaab laaye hain
lootne aaj hum ko aaye hain
jaayen dil waale kahaan bach ke

in adaaon pe hum jaan de den magar
darr to yeh hai ke ae pyaar ke humsafar
arrey in adaaon pe hum jaan de den magar
darr to yeh hai ke ae pyaar ke humsafar
hum to lut jaayenge muhabbat mein
kuchh na ??? ke aisi haalat mein
jaayen dil waale
haaye
jaayen dil waale kahaan bach ke
allah allah
allah allah
allah allah
allah allah

allah

ada se jab koyi maange
to dil dena hi padta hai
mujhe bhi loota hai haseenon ne
ada se jab koyi maange
to dil dena hi padta hai
mujhe bhi loota hai haseenon ne
pyaar ki meethi meethi baaton se
nashe mein doobi doobi aankhon se
jaayen dil waale
haaye
jaayen dil waale
kahaan bach ke

allah allah
allah allah

ho allah allah
allah allah
yeh adaayen janaab ki tauba
yeh nigaahen janaab ki tauba
jaayen dil waale kahaan bach ke

allah allah
allah allah

allah allah
allah allah

jaan dene ke dil mein iraade bhi hain
zindagi bhar nibhaane ke waade bhi hain

haaye jin iraadon se ab haath mein haath hai
yeh iraade na badlen to kya baat hai

hum se daaman agar chhudaao to
tum jo ghairon se dil lagaao to
jaayen dil waale
haaye
jaayen dil waale kahaan bach ke

allah allah

allah allah
allah allah

kya adaayen janaab laaye hain
lootne aaj hum ko aaye hain
ho yeh adaayen janaab ki tauba
yeh nigaahen janaab ki tauba

jaayen dil waale kahaan bach ke

Thanks Arun,

This indeed is a special blog. Your own contribution vis-a-vis synopses of movies and insightful comments about actors’ biographies are a delight to read. These enrich the blog as much.

Atul ji,
You have rightly dubbed this film as a rare movie. It is rare not by age but by its obscurity. It was one of the last few films of Joy Mukherjee, who was fading out. After this film, his ‘Ek bar muskura do’-72 and ‘Haiwan’-77 were the only 2 notable films in his career.Joy Mukherjee was a real star,be shone brightly for a brief period of about 10-12 years and faded also quickly.
KAHIN AAR KAHIN PAAR-1971 was a very ordinary movie having fading stars like,Joy M,Vimi,Nadira and Shaikh Mukhtar-all in their twilight zone. The film was directed by Maruti-the comedian, who also acted in the film.
The music was by GANESH-who was one of the best Violin players in the country. He was the brother of Pyarelal (L-P jodi). His other brothers-
Gorakh,Anand,Mahesh and Naresh were all good Violinists. He was one of the very few Composers in Industry who were experts in Staff Notation Reading. His initial film was’Thakur jarnail singh’-66,then came Shera Daku,Husn aur Ishk,Shararat,Chalaak,Dhamaki,Ek Nari do roop,Ek Nanhi munni ladki thi,Kundan,Badnam etc.His last film was Do Jakh-86,
he died on 28-2-2000.
One speciality of the songs of Ganesh was that in most of his songs, one player from the orchestra used to clap in tune with the song.this was a speciality of Ganesh and his songs were recognised by this clap.
In this film Ganesh was assisted by brother Gorakh and Sardar.
The story of the film is,Joy(Joy Mukherjee) is a CBI agent who is assigned the job of tracing and destroying an international gang of smugglers. He finds out that the gang is operating from a Himalayan town, where they run a Night club and Hotel. The gang has also arranged an International Judo Championship.Joy is (naturally) a 10th Degree black belt and goes there as a contestant-cum smuggler. Many such conestants are smugglers. The Chief of the Gang(Nadira) suspects Joy and sends Princess(Vimi) as her decoy to find out his reality.Vimi falls in Joy’s love and supplies lot of inside info to him,by which he enters the gang’s inner circle.Draco(Anwar Hussain),a seasoned smuggler suspects him and tries to kill him.(At some places the film clearly copies Bruce lee’s Dragon series).
With the help of Princess,Joy not only destroys the gang but also arrests the chief.
