WESTWOOD — In a stunning turn of events, area woman Julia Smythe has made it through her gynecological exam without tearing the paper gown the nurses gave her to wear. “Usually, the doctor comes in and I’m just sitting here wrapped in scraps of paper like a mummy- one tit out, one lip out,” confessed Smythe, who prepared for her appointment by watching YouTube videos on origami and shaving off all of her pubic hair. “All the practice I put in at home has really paid off—this time the only shame I felt at my appointment was when she told me I have chlamydia.” At press time, Smythe had been nominated for the Gynecological Medal of Freedom for her groundbreaking accomplishment.
