Spent the last two days doing a fun – but strenuous – video shoot for a documentary about our SYMPHONY IN D project for Detroit. Led by producer (and Knight Foundation director-of-arts) Dennis Scholl and director Marlon Johnson (who has filled many of our visits to Detroit), our various projects at the MIT Media Lab as well as my composition and experimentation process at home and in my barn studio were quite thoroughly covered. Can’t wait to see what Dennis and Marlon make of all this footage…The SYMPHONY IN D world premiere is in November, so the documentary will come out after that. To be continued…(literally:).
