Major Lazer Presents: Kabaka Pyramid | Accurate Mixtape

I actually came across this mixtape via the twitter feed of Xiomara, a singer that’s been on the 273 radar recently, and I’m glad I decided to check it out, as its pretty damn good. With a good mix of Hip Hop slash Reggae slash Dancehall, Kabaka Pyramid teams up with Major Lazer’s Walshy Fire and drops some wisdom over some classic Hip Hop beats and reggae riddims. There’s a little guest spot from the Wu’s Raekwon and even a little credit for my homeboy Ollie Barenoize, although I haven’t chased him up yet to axe him about it. If the sun ever shows this side of the cloud ceiling, this would be a great tape to drop while you get busy over a hot barbecue. Oh, and the DL is free if you follow the link on the player. < Koaste
