소나기 [Rain Shower] is one of Boohwal’s golden songs. In many occasions, Boohwal members were asked what their favorite song is among the many Boohwal’s songs. Most of the time, each member answer a song they personally wrote ^^;; One time, they were asked the song they’d like to hear when it rains. Chae Jemin and Kim Taewon answered this song simultaneously. Btw, the song is written and composed by Kim Tae-Won.
소나기 is a very special song, I think, because it has been sang since 1993, or over 17 years now. All Boohwal’s vocals sang this song, except for Lee Seung-Chul. And this song is also inserted in to five different albums. Let’s see…

I didn’t know 적시다 means “to soak” (to be wet), I thought he meant “to be written” since I remember hearing about the history of this song, that Kim Tae Won was telling the story of either a movie or a novel (totally forgot), but I totally connected it to Kim Jegi who passed away in such a young age.
Anyhow, thanks a lot! I thought of the subject of the sentence was the 주인공 there, but apparently it was the rain!!
but then, excuse my question, I don’t understand the fourth line in that lyrics:

시작하는 듯 끝이나버린 (it seemed you were only starting, you were finished)

but im gonna point out one thing.
작은 시간에 세상을 많이도 적셨네 (in a short time, you wrote a lot about the world)
root of 적셨네 is 적시다
which means ‘soak something’.
so this fits the sense of word
=> in a short time, you showered world a lot.
that’s why this song title is 소나기 (Rain Shower)

위에 말씀드린대로 이건 “김재기 씨의 짧지만 아름다웠던 삶”을 의미하는 것 같구요.
“소설 속에 너무도 많은 걸 적었네”는
너무도 일찍 죽어버린 김재기 씨가 김태원 님께 너무도 많은 것을 남겨주었기 때문에
김태원 님이 이런 가사를 쓰신 것 같아요.
김’재기’ 씨의 이름 그대로 부활의 재기에 큰 역할을 하셨지요.
김재기 씨가 김태원 님께 어떤 의미였는지
이 글을 보신다면 대충 짐작하실 수 있을겁니다.

매년 8월11일에 김재기 씨에 대한 늘 써오신 만큼 김재기를 얼마나 사랑하고 그리워하시는지 알지는 못 하지만 상상할 수 있을 것 같아요.. 김재기 씨를 “소설”로 비유하셨군요.. 아마 그 이유때문에도 이 곡에 애정이 많으신가봐요~ 감사합니다 ^^
